Fall Out Boy is an American rock band from Wilmette, Illinois, formed in 2001.
The Grammy-nominated band consists of vocalist, guitarist and composer Patrick Stump, bassist and lyricist Pete Wentz, guitarist Joe Trohman, and drummer Andy Hurley. The band released five studio albums from 2003-2008. They announced an indefinite hiatus in late 2009. They have not broken up, rather they are taking a rest and the members are engaging in various side projects. Fall Out Boy was ranked the 93rd Best Artist of the 2000-10 decade by Billboard.
