History

Raised in Lynwood California, his first musical instrument was the accordion and that sparked the start of his career. He always be a big fan of comedy and parodies such as Mad magazine and Monty Python. Al later attended college in Cal Poly university in San Luis Obispo and eventually earned a degree in architecture. During his senior year, he made a parody of the popular song My Sharona on his accordion titled "my bologna" and sent it to the radio station at Cal Poly and it received a very positive response. From there he decided to make a career out of parodying songs and went on to create many popular and memorable parodies.

Career

Weird Al and his bad became famous for making parodies of even the most popular songs all of which poke fun at the times and the culture of the release. He's stated that he "never intendes to release a serious song because there's enough people that do unfunny music". His music videos while often going into live action, have been known to mix in various medias such as 2d animation, Flash animation and even stop motion. And his concerts usually have people from all demographics, young to old, boys to girls, his music is designed for pretty much anyone to listen and laugh.

Television appearances

In addition to having his own TV show (the Weird Al Show), Al has cameoed on various televison shows, such as Robot Chicken, 30rock, the simpsons & My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic to name a few. And will even voice the lead in the upcoming Disney show: Milo Murphy's law.
