About Us

Coolhaus is a new and innovative venture developed by John and Jane Smith. Jane is an experienced pastry chef who has worked at Lever House Restaurant, Lure Fishbar and most recently at the Bread Basket Cake Company.

Her need to share exciting flavors with people is second only to her dedication to exploring them.

John is an idea guy whose keen business acumen shares brain space with a passionate and ongoing quest for our galaxy's most satisfying foods.

Created and conceptualized in downtown Ventura, Coolhaus debuted at the Ventura County Fair in June 2010, introducing three ice cream cookie sandwiches using good ole fashioned cookies and artisanal ice creams.
